Homes at the Heart Campaign

Homes at the Heart campaign ran from August to October 2020 promoting a partnership between the NFA, National Housing Federation, Crisis, CIH, ARCH and different housing organisations – and six weeks of action campaign highlighting why homes should be at the heart of recovery and why the increase in support for social housing in the UK is needed.

I was leading on the campaign from our marketing team delivering the external and internal campaign from planning to the execution with extensive content on social media, several articles on our website (and shared on social), AV screens in all of our buildings, intranet articles and letters to MPs by gathering different teams' approaches to making 'Homes at the Heart'. I also took all the photos of customers, partners and staff for the campaign.

As this was a 6-week campaign, I created an e-shot campaign, which was then sent to our local Members of Parliament (MPs) every week highlighting the amazing work we do to make our housing affordable and all the services the group provides from homeless services to employment and money advice. This resulted in 3 MPs to visit these services during the summer and autumn, something that hadn't happened  with this scale and ever since.

The campaign was a success! The social media campaign was averaging on 3,000-5,000 reach on Facebook and overall reach on Twitter was over 91,000.
